DONAL FOLEY
The Person Behind the Practice
Every person has a story shaped by experiences, relationships, setbacks, hopes, and the quieter moments that change us along the way. Those experiences influence how we see ourselves, the choices we make and the beliefs we carry—often without realising it. My role is not to tell you who you should become, but to help you make sense of where you are, recognise what may be holding you back, and reconnect with what matters to you.
I am a person-centred life coach. My professional training provides the foundation for my work; lived experience gives it depth. I have navigated my own transitions, faced down that same critical inner voice, done the hard personal work and continue to do it. I bring a genuine curiosity about people, a grounding in philosophy and a commitment to understanding how we grow, adapt and make sense of ourselves. Together, these shape an approach that is thoughtful, practical and deeply human.
There is no script, no judgement and no pressure to have the right answers. I listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, offer an objective perspective and, when useful, challenge the assumptions that may be keeping you stuck. The conversation is honest, human and comes with a little humour when the moment calls for it. I speak to the person living the problem, not the person observing it. The pace is yours, the choices are yours. My role is to help you work out what to do next.
Grounded Coaching Principles
A Steady Guide. An Objective Perspective.
Sometimes you need someone outside the situation — someone who can listen without an agenda, ask the questions others might not, and notice what you may be too close to see. That's the work here. No formula to follow, just a clearer look at where you are and an honest conversation about what comes next.
Look Beneath
Examining the roots of your obstacles with curiosity rather than condemnation.
Speak Honestly
Thoughtful conversation, without the buzzwords, quick fixes or ready-made answers.
Move with Intention
Working out what needs to change, and what you can actually do about it.
